Whether you’re an animal lover or an adventure seeker, the theme parks have it all and if you plan your day right you could enjoy more than one. If you have kids with you, a day enjoying the theme parks is a must for the Gold Coast.

Nature walks and tours in South East Queensland

If you can see yourself spending a day immersed in nature then taking a guided tour in the World Heritage National Parks in the Hinterland is the ultimate. You can enjoy a short stroll or a long hike, it’s up to you. If you want something that focuses on geology, then you can take a specific, guided geology walk. Or perhaps you’d prefer a walk that takes you on a journey to discover the history and customs of the early Indigenous family groups? Whatever you’re into, a good walk or tour will certainly feel like a day well spent.

Why not spend the day on Moreton Island? Take a full day cruise and you can swim and enjoy the sights and the crystal waters, plus you’ll most likely see dolphins and maybe even some turtles and dugongs! Spend the afternoon snorkeling or whale watching depending on what time of year you go.

Love wine? Why not take a day tour visiting the wineries in the Gold Coast hinterland region? Take the Mt Tamborine Gallery Walk and sample some of the regions finest vinos as you take in the sights of the Albert River Valley.
