Sydney hosts a range of wonderful art events throughout the year. So once you’ve enjoyed some of the major tourist attractions why not check out some of what’s happening the next time you’re in town? Here is Where Magazine’s pick of some of the best Sydney has to offer:
19th Biennale of Sydney
Beginning on the 21st of March and running until the 9th of June, the Biennale is the largest contemporary arts festival in the country. The three month event includes exhibitions, shows, forums, talks and tours many of which are free to the public.
Autumn in Your Gardens
As autumn slowly starts to turn leaves all different shades of oranges and reds, the Royal Botanic Gardens comes alive with vibrant shades. In conjunction with this stunning visual display there are music festivals, garden tours and art exhibitions to be enjoyed by all until the 31st of May.
Strictly Ballroom The Musical
Running until the 29th of June, Strictly Ballroom The Musical is set to become a favourite, transforming Baz Luhrmann’s movie into an incredible stage production. Not only is it wonderfully entertaining but the story is certainly an uplifting, feel-good tale the whole family will enjoy.
